I love this so much, Kim! I would argue you haven't been on leave at all — it sounds like you’re ministering in other beautiful ways!

Kim, I love reading your words and reflections, always, and this is one of my favorites. I'm thinking of all those hands -- all the support, that couldn't even fit around you -- and I'm so moved by that image and the impact you've had in 14 years. Congratulations on this anniversary! Thank you for your words.

Kim, this was just beautiful! And such a great reminder of the many ways we live out oue vocation at various life stages. When I finished my graduate degree in theology, many folks asked me what I would do with it. My honest reply was, “everything.” 🩵

Kim,

As it always does, your writing has inspired me. You have been a pastor to me, many times and I am so grateful. You were most certainly a pastor to me when you officiated that funeral in my absence.

Your ways and your writings are a blessing to so many.

Thank you for being so beautifully you.

Hugs!

I truly enjoyed this reflection Kim. You bring such light into the world, and I loved how you walked us through the many ways you’ve been serving even if not specifically as what you started out as/with. I think that is the most inspiring— continuing to answer our call in many forms.
