I love your “in my era” poem. I love everything you write. I’m setting an alarm to post an Amazon review TONIGHT! Sorry it’s taken me so long! Cannot wait to hug you (if you’re a hugger) soon.
I’m so excited to hear from your new series! And it sounds like we’re on the same page with all our favorite things.
Bless the souls of the teachers and administration that make our kids feel safe. They are holding the hearts of our best gifts for the majority of the days.
Thanks for reading and the encouragement and all the cheers for those who love our kids with us! If you have a piece you’d like to write on a walk, let’s talk!
Loved reading this and your kindergarten reflections totalllllllly brought me back to last fall. I remember thinking, why don't we talk about kindergarten more? It is a big deal! A big change! You captured it all so well. Thank you for sharing these reflections!!
Really enjoyed this issue, friend! And I was happy to enjoy your sunflower era birthday piece another time, too. I'm taking these words with me today: "This is my grit and determination era. This is my knowing when to work and when to rest era. This is where the blossoms come — where they spread and scatter era."
The kindergarten transition is a whopper! I hope it doesn't quite take till November for you guys to find your groove. That breakfast photo is so adorable!
I have also enjoyed reading Tsh Oxenreider's books. Thanks for the recommendation!
Also, all the feels with kindergarten transitions. It's tough on moms, too. It sounds like you have wonderful teachers and administration at your school! ❤️

friend, so grateful for you!! Thanks for your kind words! And someday we’ll get that in person walk together!
I just got Tsh’s journal yesterday! I haven’t opened it yet, but I’m excited to try it!
oh, let me know what you think and if you enjoy the journal! I’m such a sucker for all things journal and writing and stationary!

yes, we’re actually feeling a bit of ease the last few days (except the Monday after a three day weekend, that was rough!)

Hi Ashley! So glad we get to connect here! Yes, transitions are hard all around!
