Sherlock!!! Oh this is so poetic and perfect and I’m so excited for you guys. Fun fact! My dad got ringworm from the Barney costume he dressed up in for my birthday party one year. Your advent blessing is so good. Holding on to these lines

“This blessing meets you in the dark of night

wondering and questioning, doubting and believing

it whispers again, ‘come and rest, I’m here’”

Loved reading this, Kim! Sherlock’s story brought back so many memories of my cat, who found me when I was in middle school (and despite my parents initial misgivings, ended up living with them long after I had graduated and moved out).
