What a lovely idea! I can’t wait to read through the series! I love walking, especially in the fall when my neighborhood starts decorating for all the holidays. So fun!
Ah i love this!! Walking is such a wonderful spiritual act for me too!! I love love love walking in the woods around here and have actually thought of you and this Substack as I do it. It would be so fun to show you this place!
I love this idea, Kim! Let me know if you are looking for more story contributors ☺️
I enjoyed all of your sensory details and can relate to all the interrupted conversations that still matter because, as you said, “we show up for one another with our families.”
thank you!! I’m so excited about this and my energy and joy is enough for me to keep going and writing. And I’m so glad others are finding value in this too.
I love this, Kim! Walking is a spiritual practice for me, too. The rhythm has changed with the seasons of my life, but one constant and grounding element for me is a shift in perspective. Being outside - seeing the sky, hearing the birds, feeling the wind - reminds me of how small I am (in a good way!) and how small my challenge are, no matter how big they may seem. Perhaps the better phrasing is right-sizing. I’m reminded how big God is, and how big God’s love is. I’m looking forward to the series!
Kimberly, I love this concept for a series! If you are accepting stories for this series I have one for consideration.
Thank you! Yes, I am so excited to share stories of other walks! Thanks for sending yours!
