“the first step in making all things new is dancing as if they already are.” I love this so much. Grief is rarely our sole emotion. Usually when we’re grieving, we’re a mixed up bag of all kinds of emotions. Why not take that confusing bag and cry a little while we dance because even in the thick of it, God gives us glimmers.

I love this and thank you for the shout out! I'm going to think more about how I dance... which mostly happens in the kitchen with my kids while making dinner. But especially now it feels like we need more hope and joy! Thanks for this reminder.
